Coloring eggs at the campsite!!!!

BEST part of camping is watching the fire!!!!!

We went on at least 3 egg hunts while we were camping. One of the was the State Park's hunt...there were a lot of kids....but plenty of eggs...the girls had a real good time and got lots of candy!!!!

Cooking hot dogs with daddy! Didn't get good pics when the girls were roasting their marshmallows. Journey insisted that she have an actual smore...graham cracker, chocolate, marshmallow. They roasted their marshmallows, we got everything together, sat them down in front of their smores and both of them picked it up - took one small bite and put them back down. They were done...the fun of it is just roasting the marshmallow. I HAD to eat their smores....lol

Trinity and bean dip!!!????

Another busy weekend. Did get a few things accomplished! My house is still a disaster...BUT we got the patio ready for play. Our patio was FULL of junk, toys, spiders, leafs and dirt...not anymore...We got all the kids outside toys cleaned and ready for play, got all the spider webs and leafs and dirt removed...we had to use the power spray on our water hose to clean the table, got all the chair cushions cleaned. Now the patio is ready for play. The girls really enjoyed playing outside this weekend - I actually took a book out propped my feet up...but was about to fall asleep so I had to get "not so comfortable" and stop reading...haha John got sand for their sand box and you would have thought it was Christmas...they were so excited...they had a really good time playing in the sand. Weather please stay perfect for awhile!!!!

Journey had soccer practice Saturday morning. She did so good - much improvement...not necessarily skill wise...but staying with the group and paying attention. It is so hard at this age, I see all of the parents out there struggling with the same - so I know I am not alone. This soccer season is more about listening and following than skills - and she is improving!!! It is hard to hold Trinity back at soccer...because it is parent participation and everything is chaotic..Trinity usually just ends up going out on the field with one of us and kicks her soccer ball around like the rest - won't be long!

We were planning to get up early Sunday morning and go to my sister's work and watch the impolsion (she works across the street) - BUT when she told me how early we were going to have to get up...we changed our minds. As an afterthought, Saturday night, we took the girls out there to take their picture with the stadium in the background. Who knows, they may think it is cool in 20 years...but it was too dark and didn't really come out...Oh well, thought that counts! We watched it on TV Sunday morning. Journey asked me this morning if she could watch that building fall down again tonight! LOL

I was really going to try to play catch up with this blog...last pics were from Halloween:( I wanted to post pics for each event....BUT..it will never get done....so I need to just move on from here! My new motto in life...Just Move On!!!!!

Thanksgiving we had a really good time at the timeshare...Christmas was busy and fun...we tried to cram so much into so little time...looked at so many lights and had so much Christmas spirit...January and February went by in a blink... we celebrated Trinity's bday early on March 27th with a park party (as Journey called it). We had all the family come and had a really fun day...it was SOOOO windy....but we call really enjoyed it. (Still have to write thank-you notes) Can't believe Trinity is 2...crazy....her personality is amazing. She just steals your heart. She is the sweetest thing...but we do still call her Bruiser. She can take on her sister without even batting an eye.

We left Thursday before GOOD Friday to go to Cooper Lake State Park for our annual Easter camping trip. We stayed in a screened in shelter (it has a/c, fridge, microwave and bunk beds). We went with mom and Tiffany and had a really good time. It rained on GOOD Friday - but Saturday the weather was PERFECT. We put up the tent and decided that all the girls would sleep out there. Trinity fell asleep right away - but Journey surprised us and was scared to sleep in the tent. She was SO excited when we put it up that it really was shocking that she was scared to sleep in it. We finally got her calm and she went to sleep...within about 30 minutes..we had made the decision that it was FREEZING and we gathered up the kids and went and slept inside. We had a great weekend with lots of egg hunts, egg coloring, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and playing in the dirt.

It has been a week - and I am still not completely unpacked - and I am still just dragging!! Hoping to get a lot accomplished this weekend - but the weather is going to be so nice - that I may just say forget it and spend all weekend outside.

Picking out Halloween costumes was a real chore this year. Journey would change her mind every 5 minutes of what she wanted to be. Since I am not a fan of that day (it is NOT a holiday) here choices were even more limited....we decided on clowns....because whatever is done - it has to be done the same for both...After we got the costumes, we tried them on one day - got makeup on one of them (so we couldn't take it back) and realized the costumes were not very practical...but maybe they would wear them for a little bit on Halloween... We made it to John's parent's house...and the costumes came off...we went to the rest of our family's houses in our orange and black clothes....

Journey praying for my upset tummy! "I pray for mommy's tummy, for healing it, and it's all better! Amen!" My little prayer warrior!!!!

Trinity...Say Cheese!!!!

Trinity has 4 more molers trying to come in. Cranky, cranky, cranky! Her temperment is hot or cold... on or off. She is SOOOOO loving or she is throwing herself to the floor screaming!!! I am afraid we have already started the terrible two's. She has started saying some more words. I was worried about her for awhile (even though Journey's speech therapist assured me she was not behind) but she is so funny and talks ONLY when SHE wants to. She will "accidentially" say something/repeat a word for us and we try to get her to say it again, only to hear her say her favorite word, "NO"!

I moved Trinity to Journey's school a few weeks ago. So much easier on me in the mornings and afternoons. She has already adapted very well - she already knew the teacher just from going there with me to get Journey - and she seems very happy!

Journey is taking gymnastics and ballet at her school. She has gym on Wednesdays and ballet on Thursdays....but all she talks about at home is "Soccer"! Yea! We are planning to start her in soccer next season (January) and see if she still likes it after she gets a taste of the real thing!!!! We are planning to start Trinity in gymnastics after the holidays also. Busy, busy!
