Journey praying for my upset tummy! "I pray for mommy's tummy, for healing it, and it's all better! Amen!" My little prayer warrior!!!!

Trinity...Say Cheese!!!!

Trinity has 4 more molers trying to come in. Cranky, cranky, cranky! Her temperment is hot or cold... on or off. She is SOOOOO loving or she is throwing herself to the floor screaming!!! I am afraid we have already started the terrible two's. She has started saying some more words. I was worried about her for awhile (even though Journey's speech therapist assured me she was not behind) but she is so funny and talks ONLY when SHE wants to. She will "accidentially" say something/repeat a word for us and we try to get her to say it again, only to hear her say her favorite word, "NO"!

I moved Trinity to Journey's school a few weeks ago. So much easier on me in the mornings and afternoons. She has already adapted very well - she already knew the teacher just from going there with me to get Journey - and she seems very happy!

Journey is taking gymnastics and ballet at her school. She has gym on Wednesdays and ballet on Thursdays....but all she talks about at home is "Soccer"! Yea! We are planning to start her in soccer next season (January) and see if she still likes it after she gets a taste of the real thing!!!! We are planning to start Trinity in gymnastics after the holidays also. Busy, busy!

Lake Palestine

Thursday, October 1, 2009

In September we went to Lake Palestine to mom and dad's timeshare. All of us went including mom, dad and aunt NeNe. It rained MOST of the time we were there - but we still had a very good time! We got to feed the ducks everyday!

We are teaching Journey to say the Lord's Prayer and at the same time trying to teach her that some words are not acceptable and some words are a little more accepted. I usually start the prayer and she usually joins in. One morning she told me she was going to start - so she did. Our Farther, who "tooted" in heaven. I stopped and asked her "What did you say?" (I know I didn't really just hear that.) So she starts over.. Our Father, who "tooted" in heaven. "Journey why are you saying....oh....." then it dawned on me why she was saying it. All this time - she didn't realize I was just saying "art". HAHAHAHAHA She comes up with the funniest things!
August was a busy and big month for us. Journey was potty trained 2 weeks before her birthday. YEA! Before then she used the potty in the potty often and would tell us sometimes but she was just not there yet. When she was ready - she was ready and has done so good! We have had a couple of accidents during the night - but that is it!!!!!!

1 week after her birthday the Paci Princess (for Journey) and the Bottle Princess (for Trinity) visited our house. On a Thursday night - we made a special box (colored on it and put stickers on it). On Friday night we put all of Journey's paci's and all of Trinity's bottles in it and put it on the front patio - and mommy started praying real hard for the weekend. The Paci and Bottle Princess took all of the paci's and bottles out of the box so she could take them to babies who needed them and she left Journey and Trinty each a new toy to find on Saturday morning after making it through the first night. Journey's was long over due and Trinity's may of been a little early - but it needed to happen! Trinity had started using her bottle as a paci and would walk around the house with it dangling out of her mouth. It was a VERY rough weekend - but we all survived and have not looked back!

Journey had to have dental work done at the end of August. She had a chipped her 2 front teeth close to her gums and a cavity had developed. It was a tough decision....but she had her 2 front top teeth capped - they are tooth color in front and silver in back. I was very scared - thank goodness mom went with me to give me strength. They gave her a shot in her arm and literally in less than 1 minute she was out. She was in the chair for less than 30 minutes and by that evening she was ready to run around! The teeth looked very different to us at first (bigger and a space between them) - but have grown on us and they look just fine!!!!!! She enjoyed going around to people asking them to look at her new teeth.

Still enjoying cupcakes the next day!!!!

Journey was blessed with so many gifts and Trinity received almost as many as Journey did. Bad mommy still has not gotten Thanks You cards out!!!! Do people understand these days?

We had a princess party at Gramma's house. We had dinner, cupcakes, presents, swimming, then movie time for all the kids and adult pool volleyball. We all had a really good time.
